A new branch of the Women’s Institute – the decades-old British group best known for making jam and singing hymns such as “Jerusalem” – is causing a stir amongst traditionalists by abandoning cooking and sewing in favour of sex therapy. The Bramley branch has invented “WI Lite” with the aim of attracting younger women to the group.
